Welcome to our Critter Camp blog.
Windsor Elementary 4th Grade and the Animal Rescue League of Iowa are partnering to create "Critter Camp". The 4th grade classrooms will be caring for small animals from the ARL that are in need of foster care until they are ready for adoption. This blog will share about our foster critters' progress and their search for their forever home.

We are pleased to finally formally introduce you to Sophia Grace and Rosie! These adorable ladies are loving summer school. They like watching all the students learning and laughing and even got to hear all aobu their foster students' swimming lessons today. Mr. Buyck, our experienced Rat Daddy, is taking great care of these ladies and they are getting much more comfortable. Sophia Grace especially likes to explore and always wants to come out and see what is happening. These girls LOVE yogurt. The minute we put some in there, they go straight for it. Please consider adopting these adorable fun loving ratties, you won't regret it!

We are pleased to finally formally introduce you to Edith and Agnes! These sweet girls are getting all settled in and enjoy when their foster mom comes in each morning. They run around the cage all excited each morning when she arrives. They love to watch the summer school students as they work throughout the day. They also are getting much more comfortable being held, and enjoy the time out of their cage. Agnes is a bit more outgoing than Edith, but Edith still enjoys her snuggles as well. Agnes is just more demanding of attention. Both girls are super fun to watch and enjoy yummy snacks of yogurt and apples! If you are looking for a fun pet to play with and love, Edith and Agnes are your girls!
